Wired article

2019.08.26

i've not had a waffle iron since moving to Melbourne, but it might be time to reintroduce it to the mix of kitchen implements.

Gilbertson, Scott (2019, August 24). I replaced my oven with a waffle maker, and you should too. Wired.com

ham and cheese toasty

ham and cheese tortilla
= super cheesy gooey action (which will likely ooze out of the tortilla depending on cheese coverage)
delicious (bought actual cheese to supplement the "tasty" brand); will repeat

new yogurt

strawberry yogurt for the switch-up

banana, strawberry yogurt, watermelon (wanted to taste flavor sans berries)
= stronger banana flavor than ideal (personal preference)

waffles w. cookie dough bits

more half waffle, half protein powder waffles.
+ chocolate chip cookie dough (crumbled pieces = not a strong change from just choc chips, actually)

smoothie learning

 v.

seemingly similar, yet different.
left: watermelon, berries, yogurt, banana
right: kiwi, berries, yogurt, apple

1. berries/banana are a stronger flavor than watermelon/kiwi
2. kiwi is much thicker than watermelon (didn't think about that prior to first kiwi blend, liquid-wise)
3. apple results in a more pulpy texture (skin was included)
